Merry Christmas from the National Young Adult Ministry office. May this season build within us an increased expectancy in the arrival of the Christ. The humble birth points to the powerful teacher, the teacher points to the humble cross, the cross to the resurrection, the resurection to the ascension, and the ascension to His return.

"This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

-Acts. 1:11

This season I have focused my teaching, at our local young adult ministry, around the theme of Love. I've even incorporated several elements from the liturgical calendar. I'm quick to announce the religious trappings that exist with any expression of faith, however, I've also found great benefit by looking to long standing traditions.

So, if you are looking for a Christmas message, Google "advent" and see what you find.

I have a Christian friend who is a Director & saw the film at a festival in LA… she said it is incredible. I’m trying to get my hands on it to show to our group. Check out the site though – they are traveling with it in 2008.
