Welcome to the first monthly Young Adult Ministry Newsletter. It’s our goal to connect the most people with the most resource to accomplish a powerful mission. In doing so, we hope to see relevant effective ministries facilitate the growing need for Christ centered community among the young adult population of our country, and planet. We believe there is power when people of like passion can connect on multiple levels and it is possible to reach and empower the young adults of our world. We are missionaries to “the unreached people group” of our time.

A quick introduction: My name is Jason Bowman. I have been recently invited to help coordinate national young adult ministry. I also continue to serve as the Pastor of Young Adults at Evangel Temple in Springfield, MO. My wife Ashley and I took the part time college pastor position August of 2004, as the ministry grew the church brought us on full time over all young adults. We have a burden to facilitate the Kingdom to young adults. I am looking forward to the opportunity to help establish greater national networks of resource as we serve Christ together. I’d love to hear from you, your ideas, your dreams, your experience, and any resource that you are producing and or using.

There are others like you. In fact, there are hundreds of individuals striving to establish effective young adult ministry all over our country. While there is no ministry model that fits every location I do believe sharing our resources can encourage and empower one another. So, if you have any ideas or resources send them my way. Reza became the Young Adult Pastor at Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2003 and now oversees Student and Young Adult Ministries. Born in Iran and a former Muslim, Reza’s passion in life is to see believers come together and share their walk with the Lord with people who have never heard the Gospel or have walked away from the church.

Starting a Young Adult Ministry
