Hey Gang,

Don’t you just love this time of year? In the words of Mark Van Doren, "I love the fall. I love it because of the smells that you speak of; and also because things are dying, things that you don't have to take care of anymore, and the grass stops growing." One of the things I least enjoy doing is lawn maintenance. It’s not because I don’t like walking in a straight line back and forth for 2 hours while blasting my ears with Pandora in an effort to obscure the sound of my 1980’s lawn mower engine; but because I could be spending time with something I enjoy more.

Let’s face it, ministry takes a lot of our time and the last thing we need is to have our spare time spent pushing something that makes our hands numb and our back ache. Sure, we have replaced cutting grass with fantasy football and episodes of The Office, but that’s fun. The national office is here to help you maximize your time with what you enjoy most. I may not be able to assist you with your DVR management or your selection for QB this week; however, I can direct you to some quality resources that can assist you in ministry.
