Young Adult Ministries - Ministry Coordinator, Ryan Moore
Ryan’s passion is to help develop emerging leaders and propel them into their God-given destiny. He is intentional about taking the reality of God to a generation of young adults. He believes it is the responsibility of the church to build an atmosphere and to create a culture that nurtures young adults into a higher level of leadership development and participation. Ryan believes that God is rising up young leaders with great capacity for God.
Ryan is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. While attending, he started on the basketball team all four years, and assisted the team in winning the national championship his senior year. Ryan also met his beautiful wife, Alyson, while in school at CBC. They have one daughter, Alyza, born June 21, 2006. Together they enjoy watching Dora, eating at Chick-fil-A, and re-enacting Disney movies.
Ryan has ministered to young adults in both Florida and Oregon. He spent 3 years in Ocala, Florida serving full-time to youth and young adults before moving across the country in May of ‘06 to pastor young adults at Life Church in Aloha, Oregon. Ryan remains encouraged by the amount of drive, energy, and willingness to serve that this generation of young leaders possess.
Ryan was brought on full-time as the National Young Adult Ministry Coordinator in March 2009 in an effort to help support George Wood's vision of "strategically investing into the next generation." Ryan is excited and optimistic about the direction and vision of young adult ministry in the Assemblies of God. He understands that young leaders, if given a chance, will attempt great things for God. He wants to increase opportunities and help develop the people that take them.
